State Tournament Video Coverage

I will be doing video of the State Semi Finals for the Ohio High School Athletic Association. Sports Time Ohio will be covering the State Championships. However, IF Huron advances to the finals, I will have video of that match. More on this subject after the state weekend..

 

NOTICE: Even though we are listed as a 2pm start time, in previous years the state has begun the next match 30 minutes after the completion of the first match. So IT could possibly start sooner if the first match is a fast one..

Stow Monroe Falls plays Thursday in Division I.. Huron Tiger Alumni Sarah Wilber is an assistant coach for Stow... We of course wish Sarah the very best!!

Cincinnati Ursuline at 27-0 is match #2 on Thursday. The Tigers scrimmaged Ursuline back in August..

Division II - Two teams we played during regular season are meeting up.. Padua Franciscan takes on Columbus Bishop Hartley.. One more chance to see those two exciting powers go at it..

Division III - Smithville's Jenna Pew a powerful athlete for the Smithies will play JO with Huron's Jesse Miedema this spring for Ohio Elite. Jenna and Smithville are making their first trip to state in school history..

Division IV - Norwalk St Paul is back for a run at the state title.. We wish our friends from Flyer country the very best..

Marion Local takes on Hopewell Loudon. two schools we've faced a few times this summer and scrimmaged Local twice in August..

This is MY 11th straight trip to the final four... 1999-2001 with the Tigers and 2002 to current while working with the OHSAA..

Its a very rewarding experience and win, lose, or draw, just look at the big picture.. Huron is one of 16 teams ( 4 per division) out of 793 volleyball schools in Ohio that are left playing... 777 schools are DONE! That is something to be proud of...
