The Ohio All-Star Classic featuring Taryn Graham & Taylor Slauterbeck

Banquet closes out the successful season!

Another wonderful volleyball season was finished off with a great banquet

held at the Huron Yacht Club...

Some Note worthy items to close out the season on..

Michelle Saunders Memorial Award.

Ellie Justus & Rachel Stelzer

It takes a very very special kid to work your tail off every day in practice and maybe you play on game day maybe you don't, yet they are complete team players. These two ladies did everything they were asked to do and did it with a sense of pride that would make any Huron Tiger Fan proud. They are the true meaning to the word TEAM. So proud of these two girls especially because they did everything the right way all 4 years at Huron High School. They truly are deserving of this award and we thank them for 4 very wonderful and special years !!

Sunday @ Wooster High School 12pm

Good luck to Taryn and Taylor..

We are just a couple serves away from the start of the 2010 Huron Tiger Volleyball season! This year we have what we believe is a very attractive schedule. This years main attraction is the 3 time Division IV State Champion Marion Local Flyers.Marion Local is lead by senior to be Alysa Winner who is committed to The Ohio State University. The Flyers come to Huron on September 18th a Saturday Night and first serve for that contest is around 7pm for the varsity. Also coming to town this season is the Trojans from Findlay High School. The Tigers will hit the road to Kettering Fairmont High School, also road trips to Padua Franciscan, and Columbus Bishop Hartley High School. We head back to defend our Eagle Invite championship at Clay High School. Plus we have 14 great nights of Sandusky Bay Conference play.

A Very Very Big Congratulations to three Tiger volleyball players who will be inducted into the Huron High School Hall of Fame. Ellen Baker who is better known as the St Petes Bobcats coach, also was a Tiger standout volleyball player in the 70's. A pair of 1999 State Champions head to the Hall of Fame this fall. Tiger JV Coach and 1999 All Ohioian setter Nikki Dauch along with her teammate and current Indiana Tech Volleyball Coach Kirsta Solberg. Kirsta also was a 1999 All Ohioian in Volleyball. Congratulations to these fine ladies on their past and current accomplishments.
