In a season full of incredible memories, it ends with one incredible award to a very deserving young lady. Leah Phipps represented the Tigers this past season in a way that would leave no doubt that she is a team-first, hardworking, selfless athlete. Leah's contributions to the program make her an easy choice for the deserving of Huron Volleyball's greatest award. An award that represents one of Huron's finest Michelle Saunders. Congratulations Leah.

10 Years later...its still Exciting!

7 members of the 2002 State Championship Team returned to Tigerland as the Tigers took on the Findlay Trojans. Joining us on this day was Amanda Fox, Julia Butler, Abbey McCoy, Amy Gioffre Clouse, Kristy Bollenbacher, Sarah Wilber Thompson, Kari Fink.. Not able to make the trip to Huron was Kate Barnes, Mallory McCarthy, Susan Folger, Lydia Souter, Ashley Cundiff Hale, Megan Borgelt.. The Tigers finished with a 27-2 record that season..

Here is our celebration of this event..

Congratulations former Huron Tiger -- Janet "Wilber" Hamilton

from the Class of 2001 on her induction into the Huron High School Hall of Fame..

Janet helped lead the Tigers to a 1999 State Volleyball Title, and 2000 State Runner Up.

Janet was 3rd team All-Ohio in 2000...

Janet also was a member of the Track team, and played volleyball at Ohio Northern University.

10 Years Ago Huron celebrated a Division III State Championship. The Tigers lead by seniors Kari Fink, Sarah Wilber,Lydia Souter, Amy Gioffre, Ashley Cundiff finished the season with 27 wins and 2 losses. The 2002 Tigers were one of three area teams to advance to state, and one of two to win titles... Norwalk St Paul and Norwalk also made it to the State Final Four that year. Setting up what was known as "the Triangle"
