Huron Tigers after becoming a Regional Runner Up for a few years finally made it to the State Final Four for the first time in School History. In the Semi-Finals the Tigers punched their ticket to the finals with a 15-9, 15-10 win over Villa Angela St Joe.

Springfield Northwestern Warriors were making their 5th State Final Four appearence and were a perfect 8-0 in State Tournament Final Four play. In the Semi-Finals the Warriors crushed Washington Court House 15-8, 15-4 to advance to the State Finals.

Two hitters to watch for in this match are Huron's #8 Kirsta Solberg and Northwestern's #22 Amy Rutledge.

The match takes place Saturday Nov. 13th 1999 at 11:00am.
